Hey kids. It's J. Stew......... I have just come from the ER, and have torn my right calf muscle. I am officially off my feet for several days and need a spot of physical therapy. Unfortunately, this means our triumphant return on the 30th at The Big Easy must be re-scheduled. It saddens me more than you will ever know to disappoint you all like this, but I assure you I will recover as quickly as possible and and destroy every drum I see. Thanks for being fucking awesome people.

Sidecar Radio are pleased to announce the addition of Walt Craven to the band. For the past decade and a half, Walt has been a powerhouse figure within the Northeast and national music scene, first with Goud's Thumb, and then with 6Gig, and Lost on Liftoff.

Within those three bands, starting in 1994 and continuing until today, Walt has garnered critical acclaim and sold a catalog of records that gained national attention, most notably the hit single "Hit the Ground" from 6Gig's 2000 release, Tincan Experiment.

Amongst musicians and fans alike, Walt's guitar sound, style and proficiency, and his songwriting and vocal ability have gained a reputation of their own, one of a seasoned professional who has become an icon within the scene.

Being a power trio in every sense of the word since their inception in 2005, there is only one person Sidecar has toyed with asking to join the band. One person that makes complete sense. It has always been Walt. On the heels of the 2011 release of Guillotine Mouth, Sidecar was ready for a change, a step in a fresh direction, and thus came the addition.

Walt will bring his guitar and backup vocals to the Sidecar Radio recipe, and they couldn't be happier. See the birth of the new lineup at the Big Easy on March 30th, 2012, when the newly formed quartet will make it's debut. For Sidecar Radio and local music fans, it will surely be a special night.

Sidecar has announced the addition of a fourth member, although the new member's identity and role in the band has been kept a secret as of now, hence the pretty rad Luche Libre masks. Stay tuned for the announcement regarding the addition. The show on 03.30.2012 will be the official first show as a four-piece, at the Big Easy in Portland, ME.

College Snowfest Week is an annual week of rowdy parties and concerts, and this year Sidecar Radio returns to the Widowmaker Lounge on Wednesday, January 4th. This show is 18+ and you can hit the bar with a 21+ I.D.
